I made the flowers using bee wings from a vintage bee print. How cool is that?! I LOVE photoshop! James is asleep and I am heading off to dreamland:) I can't wait!
This is so beautiful. I wish photoshop was a bit easier. I'll find time to get back to learning it sooner or later. Until them, I'll enjoy your wonderful creations.
OMG! How are you girl???!! I can't tell you how often I have thought of you over the past months, wondering where you were and what happened to you. I was so, so, so happy to see that blog comment you left a few weeks ago! Seriously!
Sorry I haven't been around to visit yet. I had major real life things going on and was trying to keep busy so I didn't wallow too much. But life is good :)
Oh, you have photoshop! You lucky girl! I got photoshop elements (photoshop lite) for Christmas but haven't had time to even install it yet (how bad is that??!!). Can't wait to play with it. I LOVE what you are doing!
Ok... that's probably the longest comment in history :)
Now ... off to your OWOH post :) I love your bird collages .. crossing my fingers!
This is stunning, Jamie. My husband wiped out our Photoshop with his latest virus software upload. I was not happy as we do not have the disk to put it back on. I hadn't really learned much about it yet but had just bought a book and when I went to test it out, to my surprise Photo shop was gone...nowhere to be found. ;O Your imagination with using the bees wings for the flower petals was so clever. I look forward to seeing your creations. They are always lovely.
Sooo beautiful. I wish I was more knowledgeable of photoshop. You'd think with me having a graphic artist for a husband that some of that would just rub off on me, but, alas...no. I struggle with it. I'm going to have to get him to sit down with me one weekend and just teach me all the ins and outs of the program.
Bee wings for flower betals ..who knew...it turned out lovely.
I have to get this program...is it simply called photoshop or is there one version that is betterthan another? I worked with a sample version CS2 but wasn't able to finish before my time ran out.

Oh wow! Another beautiful piece and with beautiful words!
I think I will find a way to fly you here or me there so you can teach me how to use that blasted photoshop!
Hope you have a good restful weekend.

Jamie,
This is so beautiful! Am I correct in assuming that these images are ones we can use in our art to sell?
You inspire me so.....
