Three By A Tree FIT...and a Christmas Collage Sheet for You...

I LOVE this image so much.  The children are beautifully decked out in their winter wear and gloves.  The studio background and props are wonderful.  This is the only cabinet card I have that has an entire tree in the studio.  Awesomeness:)

I hope everyone is well and happy.  We are gearing up for the holidays and getting things decorated.  The boys decorated the Christmas tree on Monday.  All the decorations on the tree stop at about the five foot mark because that's how high they could reach.  SOOOOO cute:)   I will add some today while they are at school.  We assembled our gingerbread houses yesterday and they are ready for decorating this afternoon.  I will take pictures, but I have a great tip for making it easier to assemble.  Assemble it on top of a lazy Susan!!! You can get to every side and not disturb the sides you have already put together.  When we were putting the sides of the first house together I asked David to get a soup can from the pantry to help support the side until it dried.  He asked if I wanted chicken noodle or vegetable beef!  LOL!!!!  They keep me on my toes for sure:)

Edited to Add:  Here are the finished houses:)  They are climbing on the ceiling from all the sugar.  Help!!

These are some older FIT images, but since they are Christmas themed I wanted to re-post them for those who are new:)  They make great gift tags!!

Quote For Today:
"Christmas - that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance - -a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved."

It sounds as though Holiday preparations are in full swing in your house, Jamie! Chicken noodle or beef really made me chuckle! Don't you LOVE it!!! And what a great idea to use soup cans to hold the architecture in place. Thank you, too, for these great images. Many wishes for a Merry Christmas! Hugs, Terri xoxo

The children are wonderful. I know I could never get my grandkids to sit long enough for a shot like that now. I guess they had to be quite still for a long time back then.
And the gingerbread houses...great info.
tfs!!!

Greetings Jamie,
I love the Christmas tags & your winter image & I can't wait to use them!
I so remember when the tree was bottom heavy from little arms decorating, that's sooo cute & the question of chicken or vegetable soup, priceless!!! :)
My favorite question from my daughter when she was little: 1 morning we had a gazillion errands to do. On the way, I told her I needed to remember to get some steel wool. When we had finished our day, I told her we were done & headed home & she replied "but what about the lambs fur?" Kids are awesome!!LOL

Thanks for sharing these images Jamie, they're great. Love the story about the soup; children never cease to amaze me with their thinking processes. My grandkids just floor me sometimes with their reasoning. Those gingerbread houses are so neat and the lazy susan idea...GENIUS!

Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog, my friend. Love, love, love to see your name in my email or blog comments. So glad I 'found' you floating around in cyberspace :-)

My blog is still under 're-design' but when it's done I'll be having a giveaway with some neat stuff. I even ordered a couple of things just for the giveaway. Of course, now I'm wanting to use them myself first...but I'm staying strong and telling myself that would be really tacky. It remains to be seen if 'myself' listens to 'me' or not LOL!

Have a wonderfully blessed day!!!

Thank you so much for sharing all those lovely images again. The three by the tree are gorgeous. Love the gingerbread houses. We are not yet decorating for Christmas. Tomorrow we celebrate the birthday of Saint Nicolas. He brings gifts to children. And to adults.

Oh my...I adore the photo with the full tree. Isn't it exciting when you come across a fabulous photo like that? I have always wanted an actual circus cabinet photo, maybe one with "little people", but here in Southern California, they are impossible to find. Unless, of course, you want to pay over one hundred dollars! Maybe someday I'll get lucky.

I love the gingerbread houses. I always wanted to make gingerbread houses with my kids, but the ants are terrible where I live. There are orange groves all about and they attract ants. If I made a gingerbread house and left it out to display, it would be covered in ants within an hour! No joke...

Jamie, thank you for stopping by! It has been a long time & I was so pleased to see you had visited. How is the new house? Do you LOVE it? Those Gingerbread Houses are adorable. Yes, the sugar does create those problems. But, I bet they had a blast. Merry Christmas & thank you for these & ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the FITS that you are so generous with. Hugs~Charlene
