Free Image Tuesday..On Wednesday...Can't Let You Get Too Spoiled!...LOL!!

What can I say?  Thank you each and every one of you.  Your words helped so much.  I am writing you each individually but I must also say it here: Thank you. Love, Jamie

Lovely Civil War era Girl.  Her dress is amazing and I am really loving the studio prop tassels on the table.   I bet she was firecracker:)

Small mounted photo from the early 1900's.  I thought I would get a winter Cutie Pie in the FITS before Spring comes:)

This is a cabinet card from the late 1800's.  It says, "Uncle Charlie" on the back.  This is one of the few cabinet cards I have of this size.  It is 8.5 inches by 4 inches.  I love how Charlie's little right hand is holding his gown.  Precious!

Cabinet card photos that are framed in a fancy mask like this one are usually Memorial cards.  The little girl's name is written on the back as Edith Fairfield.  She was beautiful.

Close-up detail of frame.

So sorry things are hard right now, Jamie--love your great attitude, though! And thanks for lifting us up with pretty things even when you're feeling low...that's a beautiful thing!

This bloggy world IS wonderful--I never dreamed how much fun I would have here or how many REAL friends I would make--it is hard to explain it to people who don't blog--you feel a little silly trying, don't you?!

I hope the day gets better--make something pretty and it will help! I'm going to later on today with one of the beautiful images you just shared--thank-you so much!

Thank you for these beautiful keepsakes, Jamie. So sorry to hear that you've been down int he dumps. We were away on vacation, and I just read your previous post. As artistic souls, we have a need to create and a space to feel comfortable doing it in. Just remind yourself that "This too, will pass". Am sending good vibes your way! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Thanks for the wonderful FITS!!! I love both the civil war girl & the baby that looks like a birdie...sooooo cute!!!
Sweet Jamie,
March is here, spring is on the horizon, bulbs are sprouting under the snow, birds are chirping & getting ready to make their nests, it's a new beginning & a renewal of life...I'm feeling it & hope you're feeling it too. It's that wonderful energy that only the dawn of spring can bring...
& if your not feeling that then my next favorite thing is:
a Venti Mocha Frappicino with a muffin from Starbucks, it always gives me a reason to live! LOL
Smiles,
Susie

Thank you so much for the wonderful tintypes you offer so often. I love tintypes.

We hardly don't know them in the Netherlands, we had directly the normal old photo's.

Have a wonderful and creative weekend

Hi Jamie!

This is my first visit to your blog and what a joy when it opened and I saw all your precious photos!

I came over from Dawn's blog, sweetheart that she is.

Prayers for you during these difficult times and know that when you open up and share the feelings you are experiencing many of us are struggling with those same type of emotios...we empathize...and for myself...I don't feel quite so alone.

I'll be back to browse and revel in the glory of your beautiful photos!

Thank you,

Sandy

Thanks, Jamie! I like the "Little Miss" civil war girl, too. She DOES look like a firecracker, despite the solemn face.

Glad things are going better. Always helps to receive support from friends! Spring's on its way!

Such lovely images, again and again. You always share such lovely images.

Hope you are beating the blues . . . you should be so happy in the gorgeous new house of yours. I bet as the weather turns to spring and you start to feel settled in, your art will come back and come back big. Sometimes the muses and the mind just need a little break.
