Home Snow Home and FITS for You!...

First snow at the new house:)

I can't believe my husband walked all the way out there to take this picture and he STILL did not get the paper.  Now it is under over 5 inches of snow.  Can you believe it?!  In Texas?!!!  The boys survived school and the snow has not stopped pouring down since 3 am.  We will end up with 6 or 7 inches before it is all over.  Beautiful.  We will not be having school tomorrow for sure.  And I made chili.  So it's all good:)

Here are some random photos from today:)

Jamie, thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog, especially as it brought me here to yours and all its goodies. Your house looks for all the world like a Thomas Kinkade painting. The snow scenes are breathtaking and your photographic skills are very much in evidence. For those who don't believe in climate change ... there's you in Texas under tons of snow and here's me in Australia where all records for heat and months without rain are being broken. Thanks for the "cool down".
Cheers from Marie.

Just found your blog while visiting Paula's Serendipity. Wow, what luck. I, too, love 1800's and tintype photos..any old photos of that era...I don't care who they are, except I have to say I am curious...I love the ring on this little girl's finger..I noticed it right off.
Glad I found your blog!

Good Lord. We're in the process of closing on a house, but if I'd seen yours first I'd have just chosen which wing I wanted to move into lol - Criminy! I thought mine was big!

Thanks for the FITS, they're just adorable, as usual :)

(hope you remembered to buy a maid for that thing too *g*)

And for the record, I am PEA GREEN about all your snow. The whole country is getting womped, but here in WA it's been un-seasonably warm, and all the bulbs are already blooming. My dh is from MN, I'm from AK - we both miss the snow! When I grew up, every winter looked like your pic's - just loved it! Thanx for sharing them!
