I'm Too Hot To Think of a Fun Title FIT...

This is Jane. Jane does not look very happy about having her photo taken. I am not sure how I would feel about that hat either. I might have frowned too:)
The inscription on the back of the cabinet card just says, "My Jane 1892" I LOVE IT!!!

Look at these cheeky Victorian kids!! Here is my theory on what is going on. The two gals are sisters. The fella is sweet on the gal on the right in the first photo. She takes three photos for him.
Then it is his turn to take three photos for her. I really love how he puts on her hat!!!!
I found the strips together because the Gal and the Fella eventually got hitched. Or something like that;)

These next two are from my collection of antique bird prints. One day I will get around to framing all of them! Until then, enjoy:)
Below is my practice piece for the week. I am not getting too much computer time lately so not too much arting going on!
Quote for Today: This is for you Theresa!!!!

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than the things you did do. So throw off the bow lines.Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
~Mark Twain

In the old days, no one smiled because they had to hold that pose for a long period of time, I was told.
So, the title today, "If I'd known I had to stand here all day, I would have jumped off that cliff behind me!"
I'm kinda crazy today!

Jane is too hot too! With all that clothing and yes the goofy hat..she is not a happy camper.

Wish we could time travel and give her an ice cream cone. Do you think she would like mint chip? Perhaps the ol'standards vanilla or chocolate.

Thanks for all the FITs totally terrific!

I love it all -- especially the cheeky girl and guy! I wonder if they got in trouble for that? I love the birds, oh, antique bird prints collection! I'm jealous!

Love these images and aren't you clever with your 'dream' message for me. That quote is sooooo very true; why do we always put off doing something til we're 'thinner, richer, less busy, what-have-you'?! Thank you so much for your friendship, your support and your positive outlook; love you bunches!!!

Love the Twain quote too - feeling the need to venture from the harbor these days too...just gathering my courage a little first !
Happy Firday, lovely Jamie !

Another wonderful post! Love the photo strips you keep sharing with us - they are so cool! Love the back of that first picture - those two little words speak volumes, "My Jane". And your digital piece is lovely, lovely, lovely as your work always is! Love those wings! Hope things are cooling down for you. Wouldn't you hate having to wear all those clothes they used to? Yikes.

Thanks for the FIT. No, Jane does not look happy nor would I in that get up. Kids have it so much better these days don't they? Speaking of kids... are your back in school tomorrow? My Grands are. Had a good summer but, I am ready for things to go back to normal routine. Where my time is mine.
